Which LED dance floor sizes are the most popular?+
Most rental customers choose 20x20ft or 16x16ft layouts. The final quantity depends on the venue size and expected guest capacity. For about 50 people, we normally recommend around 100 panels; for about 100 people, around 200 panels is a better starting point.
What is the difference between wired and magnetic LED dance floors?+
Wired floors connect each panel with cables, then connect to the power supply and controller. One power supply can connect about 15 panels and one controller can control about 120 panels. Magnetic floors only need the first row connected to power and controller; the rest conduct through magnets. Wired floors are economical for fixed venues, while magnetic floors are faster for rental companies.
Is the LED dance floor waterproof?+
Yes. The floor can reach IP67 waterproof protection, so normal drink or liquid spills are not a problem. A waterproof casing can also be supplied for the power supply when required.
How durable is the floor and how thick is the glass?+
The floor uses 10mm tempered glass. Each panel can bear about 600-700kg, so high heels and normal event traffic are not a problem.
How long does the rechargeable model run after a full charge?+
The rechargeable version takes about 2-3 hours to fully charge and can run for about 10 hours. The built-in battery capacity is 6000mAh.
What is the expected lifespan?+
The expected lifespan is over 10 years, or more than 100,000 working hours under normal use and maintenance.
What is the rated power consumption?+
Rated power is about 20W per panel. Full-load operation is about 2000W for a larger floor setup, RGB color changing is about 1000W, and single-color operation is about 700W, depending on the final layout.
How many LED beads are inside each panel?+
A 50cm panel normally has 60 LED beads, while a 60cm panel normally has 72 LED beads.
Can the LED dance floor be controlled by mobile phone?+
Yes. Mobile app control is available with the matching controller. Remote control, sound control, SD controller, tablet, computer, and DMX control options are also available.
Can the floor flash in sync with music?+
Yes. The floor supports music and sound-activated lighting effects, and DMX control can be configured for professional event scenes.
Can it be controlled by computer?+
Yes. Computer control is available when using the required controller system for the project scale.
What packaging is recommended?+
Carton plus pallet packaging is available, but flight case packaging is recommended for rental businesses because it protects panels better and is easier to transport between venues.
Why do some versions use 6 magnets instead of 12?+
In a 12-magnet design, 6 magnets conduct power and 6 are mainly for attachment. Our common version uses a bottom fixing plate to improve stability, so fewer magnets can reduce weight while keeping reliable fixing performance.
How much does each panel weigh?+
A 50cm panel weighs about 11kg, and a 60cm panel weighs about 14kg.
Can the ramp size be customized?+
The standard ramp height is about 7.2cm. Wired-version ramps can be customized in size when stainless steel material is used.
What is the difference between aluminum and ABS ramp materials?+
Aluminum alloy is metal and heavier, while ABS is a high-strength plastic. Both can meet the required hardness, but ABS can be molded into more complex structures and has a higher mold cost.
Are magnets easy to replace?+
The magnets are very durable and rarely break. If replacement is needed, they can be replaced as service parts.
Why is the wired version cheaper than the magnetic version?+
The magnetic version uses high-hardness, strong-suction magnets and magnetic conduction parts, so its material cost is higher than the wired version.
Can cables be extended?+
Yes. Cable length can be extended according to the layout and venue requirements.
What accessories are usually required for a complete layout?+
A complete layout normally includes power supplies, controllers, power and signal cables for the first row, SD card, card reader, remote control, ramps, flight cases, suction cups, and spare LED strips. Quantity depends on the final floor size.
