LED Dance Floor FAQ
1. How are they connected? What is the installation method?
We offer two connection methods:
Wired version and magnetic version.
Wired version: Each floor panel requires wiring to connect to the power supply and controller; one power supply supports 15 panels, and one controller manages up to 120 panels.
Magnetic version: Only one row needs to connect to the power supply and controller; the remaining panels receive power via magnets, eliminating the need for wiring.
The wired version is more cost-effective and suitable for permanent installations.
The magnetic version is easier to install and transport, making it ideal for rental businesses.
2. Is it waterproof?
It has an IP67 waterproof rating, so there is no need to worry about spilled drinks; we can also install a waterproof housing for the power supply unit.
3. Is it durable? What is the thickness? (Please provide photos and the video showing a car driving over the panels.)
The glass is 1 cm thick; a single panel can support a load of 600–700 kg, and it withstands high heels without issue.
4. What is the lifespan?
10 years (100,000 hours).
5. How many LED beads are there?
For the 50cm panel, the actual count is 54 beads (though global specifications often list 60). For the 60cm panel, the actual count is 72 beads (though global specifications often list 72).
6. Why do other suppliers use 12 magnets while you use 6?
In 12-magnet designs, 6 magnets are for power transmission and 6 are for structural attachment. We added fixing plates to the bottom, which provide superior stability compared to magnets alone; this allowed us to remove 6 magnets and reduce the overall weight.
